Google has announced the new advertising program for video creators. With 13 hours of video uploaded to YouTube every single minute, the video creators found it very difficult to make their videos to be found easily by the youtube users. Earlier this week, Google has found a perfect solution for this. That is called youtube sponsored videos. At least some of them would have understood what Sponsored videos stand for!
Everyone who uses the Internet would have come across sponsored links from Google. The sponsored videos also work on almost the same concept as sponsored links. As said in Google’s official blog, “Today, we are excited to announce a way to do just that. YouTube Sponsored Videos is our new advertising program that enables all video creators -- from the everyday user to a Fortune 500 advertiser -- to reach people who are interested in their content, product, or services, with relevant videos. Anyone can use Sponsored Videos to make sure their videos find a larger audience, whether you're a start-up band trying to break out with a new single, a film studio seeking to promote an exciting movie trailer, or even a first-time uploader trying to quickly build a following on the site.”
These videos will be clearly labeled as "sponsored videos" and are priced on a cost-per-click basis. YouTube Sponsored Videos are currently made available only in the United States and will be available for all other countries in near future. You can visit ads.youtube.com running your own Sponsored Videos campaign.
