Nagercoil, TN, India (sardnews.org) 8/22/2011 12:00:00 AM - The SIM R&D team headed by Guna Nadar reluctantly started analyzing client sites and inhouse portals to check the impact of directory submissions post Panda update. Earlier they had tried DeepLink Directory Submissions, Regional directory submissions and Niche directory submissions for a handful of newly launched sites and a couple of old sites which includes a 11 year old site. The findings made by the team were interesting with regard to the directory submissions. Directory submission's  was not considered an effective offsite SEO strategy in the later years of last decade and the findings revealed the fact that Directories are not penalized by Google in the recent update.

From Submitinme.com's beginnings in 2002, the company’s founder set out to offer unique services such as screenshot reports, Directory Niches, Link building through free Case Studies etc. With addition of intelligent resources in the later years they are constantly offering unique SEO services with the help of a strong R&D team. Technical Director Geno who invented the Document sharing strategy for SEO even in the early stages of document sharing sites like Scribd have contributed a considerable portion in the success of SIM.

Guna Nadar who tabled the report announced that "It is a pleasant surprise to see that Google’s panda have not been harsh on Directories as it had been to Content farms and also credited good directories. I was skeptical while doing the analysis on the effectiveness of directory submission. There was a time in early 2000 when one can achieve a rank and traffic by submitting to a handful of good directories. Also directories like DMOZ were ready to approve quality sites in no time. Gone are those days as SEOs and SEO companies tried to cheat Google with the help of free directory scripts like PHPLD creating network directories. Later in the last decade there was a very minimal impact for directory links in the role of SEO. Now that most of the SCAM networks are banned or obsolete, Google have given credit to good and relevant directory links"

Following the analysis, SIM had modified their Web Site Submission services to Directory Submission Services and come up with a Post Panda Directory Submission Package with a 10% discount and attractive free services. Also the post Panda package carries a number of free features like published directory links, featured directory links etc.
